Regional Customs Branch XVI holds dialogue meeting with businesses
On April 9, at Thu Dau Mot Customs (Binh Duong), the Regional Customs Branch XVI held a Customs - Business dialogue conference for the first quarter of 2025. The conference was attended by nearly 400 businesses, both directly and online, at 8 locations in Binh Duong province.
At the conference, representatives from the Regional Customs Branch XVI provided enterprises with important information regarding the declaration process and common errors to avoid, such as: on-site exporting enterprises must submit documents specifying the delivery of goods in Vietnam from foreign organizations or individuals when filling out customs declarations.
Notably, representatives of the Regional Customs Branch XVI also disseminated policies, procedures and notes when exporting goods to the US and answered many opinions of businesses related to the issue of applying reciprocal taxes on Vietnamese goods exported to the US market.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of Regional Customs Branch XVI, shared information with the business community, highlighting the efforts of the Vietnam Customs Department. In line with the directives from the department, Regional Customs Branch XVI has proactively implemented various solutions to provide comprehensive support to businesses. Specifically, the department has established teams that directly engage with businesses exporting goods to the United States. These teams aim to understand the challenges and difficulties that businesses face during the export process. Based on their findings, the unit will compile this information, make recommendations, and take action within its authority to create the most favorable conditions for businesses.
