Ensuring safety, seriousness and compliance with regulations for the 2025 high school graduation exam

On May 20, at the Provincial Administrative Center, Binh Duong Provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam held a meeting to discuss the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in the province. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference.

According to the report of Provincial Department of Education and Training, in the 2025 high school graduation exam in Binh Duong province, 17,079 candidates registered to take the exam, including 261 independent candidates registered to take the exam under the 2006 program, and 16,818 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2018 program. Binh Duong Provincial Examination Council has 30 examination sites located at high schools and junior high schools with 750 examination rooms and 1 examination marking site. Of which, there is 1 testing site for candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program and 29 testing sites for candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program.

At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee shared their views on various topics, including social security, socialization, finance, and organizational support, in order to prepare thoroughly for a successful exam.

During the meeting, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, urged the education and training sector to stay closely involved in the preparation process. He emphasized the importance of providing timely advice to the Provincial People's Committee in order to finalize and clarify the exam organization plan. He also highlighted the need for effective communication with parents to support students and create the best possible conditions for them to participate in the exam.

Chairman Vo Van Minh pointed out that 2025 marks the first year the high school graduation exam will be conducted based on the 2018 General Education Program. He noted that the timing of the exam coincides with the reorganization of administrative units, underscoring the necessity for localities, departments, and branches to develop specific plans. Coordination and support must be seamless to ensure that the 2025 high school graduation exam is conducted safely, seriously, honestly, fairly, and in accordance with regulations.
