On the afternoon of April 8, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade conducted a ceremony to unveil the Index for evaluating the implementation outcomes of Free Trade Agreements at the local level - the FTA Index for 2024.

During the announcement ceremony, Binh Duong was recognized as the third locality among provinces and cities with the highest FTA Index, following Ca Mau and Thanh Hoa, achieving a total score of 34.02 points. The scores for the individual criteria are as follows: in the component index for FTA information dissemination and related activities, Binh Duong ranked 14th with 6.93 points; in the law-making efforts of local state management agencies, it ranked 8th with 7.13 points; in FTA utilization and support policies aimed at enhancing competitiveness, it secured 5th place with 7.01 points; and in fulfilling commitments to sustainable development, Binh Duong achieved 3rd place with 8.01 points.
